Gil is an American visual storyteller of Filipino heritage. He acts as a graphic artist, designer, and art director.

His commercial work includes app-based motion graphics and user interfaces to posters, book covers and mailers. He sketches, animates type and makes zines for fun.

Currently he is enrolled in the international master of design (MDes) program at the Basel School of Design in Switzerland. From 2017-2022, he served as an Assistant Visual Editor at The Wall Street Journal in New York City.
