Gil is a graphic designer who harmonizes messages and materiality into visual experiences informed by nature, corporeality and poetic thought.
From 2017-2022, he held the title of Assistant Visuals Editor at The Wall Street Journal in New York City. Prior to that, he worked as an in-house designer for over a dozen print magazine titles.
Currently he is enrolled in the Basel School of Design‘s MDes program in Basel, Switzerland.
Gil holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and creative advertising from VCU in Richmond, Virginia.
He loves to sketch and travel. A lot. Also an avid volunteer, Gil has lend his time to the New York-based institutions: Society of Publication Designers, AIGA NY Chapter, Typographics Festival as well as the Weltformat Graphic Design Festival in Lucerne, Switzerland.
