Project Description
Upon reading “Nanoplastics travel long distances to the Alps”, I began to think of the nearly invisible (and harmful) objects we do not consciously see nor think about in our day-to-day lives.
After applying actual microplastics onto the monoprint surface, I cut pieces of paper to create curvaceous letterforms of the word, “think,” alluding to the speculatively turbulent wind currents atop the Swiss Alps possibly altered by these toxic particles.
